October 2021 Newsletter
I think Fall weather has arrived, although we have had some days where I’m not sure if Mother Nature is sure! Watching the little squirrels is entertaining as Willy and I take our daily walks. They find ears of corn in the neighbor’s field and bring them into my yard to eat or hide them 😊
I’m finding myself harvesting and putting away food from my garden and orchard. I’m nearly done with the apples which I have been making applesauce. I find that I don’t need to add any sugar because the apples are so sweet 😊
What are you doing to enjoy the Fall weather and prepare for the upcoming Winter months? You may find your energies change to a more restful, self-care pace; or notice a need for a slower pace, more sleep or rest. Maybe you aren’t excited about attending events/functions you are invited to. This may be your body asking you for more self-care.
I am finding myself “stretched thin” and feeling more willing than ever to say “No” to extra commitments and to find a balance with my energies. I encourage you to always consider your needs as you move through this season and into winter.
News and Notes:
I will not be teaching at ARC in October or November.
A clarification about the class cancellation policy (cancelling classes with no registrations 24 hours before class start time) — you will not see the cancelled class on the calendar/schedule and so you won’t be able to register, so if the class is there, you can likely assume others have registered.
The October and November class schedules are now on the website. -> Events for October 2021 – Yoga with Ada (yogawithada1.com). Events for November 2021 – Yoga with Ada (yogawithada1.com) Please be sure to register for classes in order to fully use your subscription. If you would like to take more classes than covered by your subscription, you can log out of your account and purchase as many single classes as you would like.
I have decided to delete the Yoga with Ada Facebook page in the next month. For several months, I have not had time to create material and I’m not receiving any other activity. I have decided this is a clear message that it is not useful to you or to me. The recent problems Facebook has had also encourages me to take this step.
If you are looking for a birthday/anniversary gift idea for a special someone, maybe a yoga class with Ada is a perfect choice! Here are the steps you can take:
- Go to YogawithAda1.com
- If you have a subscription, go to your account and Logout before proceeding to #3. Those without a subscription can go straight to #3.
- Go to the “Class Schedule” and purchase the class or classes, using your own email address and credit card.
- Forward the confirmation email to the gift recipient along with your personal greeting. Please CC me at YogawithAda1@gmail.com, and I will add them to the class roster and know to expect them.
